jl987 started with a simple idea: give Filipino players an online gaming platform that actually understands them — one that speaks their language, supports their payment methods, and plays their favourite games. We've been doing exactly that since we launched, and we're not stopping any time soon.
A platform built around the Filipino player from the very beginning.
The story of jl987 starts with a straightforward frustration. The team behind the platform were avid Filipino gamers who kept running into the same problems on international online casinos: confusing currency conversions, payment methods that didn't include GCash or Maya, games that had nothing to do with Filipino culture, and customer support that clearly had no idea where the Philippines even was on a map.
So instead of complaining about it, we built something better. jl987 launched with one clear mission: create an online gaming platform that Filipino players would genuinely feel was made for them. Every decision we've made since — from the games we source, to the payment methods we support, to the languages our support team speaks — comes back to that original intention.
We started with a focused library of games that Filipino players actually play: Tongits, Color Game, fishing games, and a solid slots selection from providers that Filipino audiences love. We integrated GCash and Maya from day one, because we knew that's how most Filipinos move money. And we made sure our minimum stakes were accessible — you don't need to deposit thousands of pesos to have a great time at jl987.
From that starting point, jl987 has grown steadily. We've added volleyball betting to serve the country's enormous love for the sport. We've expanded into virtual sports for players who want action around the clock. We've grown our slots library to over 500 titles from the best providers in the industry. And through all of it, the core principle hasn't changed: everything at jl987 is built around what Filipino players actually want.
Today, jl987 serves hundreds of thousands of registered players across the Philippines. Players from Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and everywhere in between call jl987 their platform of choice. That reach didn't come from advertising gimmicks — it came from building something that works, paying out fairly and fast, and treating every player with the respect they deserve.
The principles that shape every decision we make — from product features to how we treat our players.
These aren't marketing bullet points — they're the things our players actually tell us when they explain why they stick with jl987.
Every team has values on paper. At jl987, ours actually show up in how we build the product and treat our players.

jl987 is built and run by a team that genuinely loves games and genuinely respects Filipino players. Here's a bit about the people making it happen.
This is something jl987 takes seriously — not as a checkbox on a licence application, but as a genuine responsibility to the people who play on our platform. Online gaming should be entertaining. The moment it stops being that for any player, we want to be part of the solution, not the problem.
Every jl987 account comes with access to deposit limits, daily loss caps, session time reminders, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion options. These are real, functional tools — not buried in settings. We actively encourage players to use them. We also train our support team to recognise signs of problem gambling and respond appropriately.
Online gaming at jl987 is strictly for adults aged 21 and above. For full responsible gaming information, tools, and support resources — including links to external help organisations — please visit our Responsible Gaming page. Maglaro nang responsable, palagi.
